Adult Basic Education (ABE)

This is a no fee class (not applicable to testing fees).

Tulare Adult School provides career-oriented training programs that teach adult students specific skills for their desired occupation. 

Adult Basic Education

Receive individualized and group instruction in basic-level math and reading skills, practical science, and job readiness.

ABE classes are designed to help students improve in the areas of reading, writing, and math. The goal of the ABE class is to prepare students for success in the General Educational Development (GED), High School Diploma (HSD) program, or Office Occupations course. Upon successful completion of ABE coursework (including a specified CASAS post-test score), students will transfer to the GED, HSD, or the Office Occupations program.
